Telegram announcing Fred Ward's death

The following telegram was sent by the Armidale Police Magistrate, John Buchanan, on Friday 27 May 1870 at 2.30pm and announced that the dead bushranger (that is, the man shot near Uralla on 25 May 1870) had been identified as "Fred Ward, Thunderbolt".
