Tunchon twins - Birth diary 1873
Entry from midwife Mrs J.J. Banks' notebook (no other source details provided) - supplied by Peter Tunchon
It reads: "1873 Mrs Tonchin twin sons one first still born & the other dead born, the first died since - May 23rd; the first a dark child, second white. This woman is a half-caste as her Mother was a Black Gin and her father was James Bugg and she herself was a Chinaman's wife so she had one a black and the other white." See also: Tunchon twin.
NB. These were the twin sons of Eliza Bugg, herself the daughter of James and Charlotte Bugg and sister of Mary Ann Bugg.
